From kdevelop-devel Wed Mar 27 14:59:54 2002 From: Oliver Strutynski Date: Wed, 27 Mar 2002 14:59:54 +0000 To: kdevelop-devel Subject: Re: feature definitions for 2.1 press release X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kdevelop-devel&m=101724153708280 > "What is that cross-compiling feature of KDevelop-2.1?" Suggestion: With the new cross-compiling feature developers can create applications that run on different hardware platforms including PDAs such as the Sharp Zaurus and mainframe platforms. This enables companies and individual users alike to leverage existing knowledge to bring their applications to new hardware platforms and devices from within their familiar development environment. Ok, that is not entirely true, since you can _write_ applications for other platforms even without that feature, but do you really want to explain the difference between writing code/compiling code in a press release for common users/journalists? [btw: cross-compiling with kdevelop really rocks!] oliver -- _____________________________________________________________________ Oliver Strutynski oliver.strutynski@cs.tum.edu olistrut@gmx.net _______________________________________________ Kdevelop-devel mailing list Kdevelop-devel@barney.cs.uni-potsdam.de http://barney.cs.uni-potsdam.de/mailman/listinfo/kdevelop-devel
