I run my screen at 1280x1024. A convenient size for the display of a page of text is \
about one half (not more) of my screen.

This display requires over three quarters just to keep text on-screen.

I'm not fond of the idea of the contents display to the left either; almost every \
time I find one used, it makes it impossible to brows the accompanying text in a \
comfortably-sized window.

It might be better if th window could be detached so that I have complete freedom is \
sizing it without encroaching on the text area.
