            Bug ID: 309919
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
Summary: For VCS-managed projects visualize status of
files/directories/working tree in Project Tool View
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: torbjoern.k@googlemail.com
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kdevelop

The status of the current working tree (if managed by a VCS) should be somehow
visualized in the project tool view.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Given a clean working directory (e.g. on a valid Git ref aka 'master'). Now do
some work, e.g. change some files, add some, remove some.
Actual Results:
I cannot see a difference between changed and unchanged files in the project
tool view. I would have to look into the VCS tool view. Though the project tool
view is used much more frequently.

Expected Results:
The changed or added files should be visualized in the project tool view. I
propose an asterisk after a file/directory name, which has been modified or a
redish underlay. After git-add this should change into a plus sign and a green
or yellow underlay. For clean files (i.e. committed/stashed) no additional
visualization should be done, i.e. the default.
