            Bug ID: 305651
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: git master
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
Summary: Find/replace in Files to support multiline search and
                    replace
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: roman.konieczny@gmail.com
          Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kdevplatform

It would be *very* helpful I guess for many developers to have possibility to
find and replace multiline strings within project files.
Often when refactoring a method, it could be splitted into several lines and it
is impossible to replace all its occurences automatically using Find/Repalce in
Files dialog. Instead one must use external tools or use Find/Replace function
(limited to current file) or just do manual work.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Regular expressions with \n do not work.

Expected Results:
Regular expressions with \n find within multiple lines.
