            Bug ID: 303800
          Severity: wishlist
           Version: git master
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
Summary: Use the "Environment" in the Launch Configurations
                    Arguments
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: daviddoria@gmail.com
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kdevelop

I tried to use the "Environment" in the Launch Configurations. I created a new
environment, and added a variable DATA_DIR and set it to /home/.../mydata. Then
in Arguments, I added $DATA_DIR/myfile.png to pass a file to my program.
However, I get "A shell meta character was included inthe arguments" . I'm
assuming that is the $? I was told on IRC that this is not the intended use of
these environment variables. It would be really nice to be able to use these
environment variables in the arguments list, because my argument lists usually
look like /media/portable/Projects/PatchBasedInpaintingDevelop/Data/image.png
/media/portable/Projects/PatchBasedInpaintingDevelop/Data/mask.png .... and it
is really hard to keep track of.
