            Bug ID: 303468
          Severity: normal
           Version: 4.3.60
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
Summary: File gets opened twice in a second tab after searching
for a function name (in that file) via the "Quick
                    Open" field
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: info@markusholtermann.eu
          Hardware: Archlinux Packages
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kdevelop

Having a C file open and searching for a function name (occurring in the open
file in the current C project) using the "Quick Open..." input field at the top
of the window, opens the file a second time in a new tab.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a C file in a C project
2. Search for a function occurring in this file using the "Quick Open..." field
3. Open the C file from the drop-down list
Actual Results:
The file gets opened twice.

Expected Results:
I'd expect, that the window scrolls to the specific line in the file and that
KDevelop does not open the file again

If you have unsaved changes in the first open tab and the file opens again (as
described above), you do some changes there and save them and close the tab and
then switch back to the first open tab and save the file, the changes just
saved get lost.
