I'm working on an embedded project with a cross compiler, so I have a certain
gdb to use:
GNU gdb (Sourcery G++ Lite 4.3-51) 6.8.50.20080821-cvs

When I tried to start debugging, kdevelop tells me the version is tool old (not
>= 7.0) and that it can't open a tty or ptty. Then it crashes. This is easily
reproducible for me.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
