We are now passing this by default [1] to gcc when querying it for macros. Due
to technical reasons we do not want this to be configurable. As it is supposed
to be backwards compatible anyways we hope this to be a good decision.

[1]: currently in the c++0x branch, but is going to be merged into master soon.
