I'd say you should double-check no BIC changes occurred triggering this really
strange crash. ~ITextAssistant is empty for me.

Anyhow, if rebuilding kdev* does not hep, run it through valgrind and show us
the log:

valgrind --track-origins=yes --num-callers=25 kdevelop
