Hey there,

please tell us which project exhibits this behavior, it's not as simple as
"open *a* project" - I use lots of projects and none of them need 5 or more
minutes to open.

Also make sure to test it in KDevelop 4.1 to see whether the behavior is not
already fixed maybe for your project.
