           Summary: "File → Open…" dialog doesn't remember
protocol://username@host part of a remote connection
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: SVN
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: file selector
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
        ReportedBy: mail2lx@gmx.net

Version: SVN (using Devel)
OS: Linux

If I have one file open from a remote connection, say
ftp://user@example.com/path/to/document, and I open the "File → Open…" dialog,
it displays in the address bar only the path part (/path/to/document), and the
directory visible is my home directory. I would expect it to open it in the
correct location, and list the contents of that directory.

Reproducible: Always

I've also reported this in the Gentoo bugtracker
(http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319625). It was marked as fixed there,
although it isn't. I'll reopen it as soon as I have posted this one here.

By the way, my current version is not SVN, as opposed to the above selection.
I'm using KDE 4.4.5 and kdevplatform-1.0.1 (both are not available in the above
dropdown fields).

If you need any more information, please let me know.
