You had your SVN account, right? Then simply create an account on gitorious,
and request to be added to the kde-developers group from the sysadmins:
https://bugs.kde.org/enter_sysadmin_request.cgi

Then you should be able to commit. Bug fixes go into 4.0 but I'm not sure
whether this is also present there, maybe a regression due to recent changes.
Would be cool if you could check that.
