I contacted the maintainer of the skulpture style about this, and this is his
reply:
#Here is the patch for KDevelop. The problem is
#that it first paints the numbers, then the tab
#base. With most styles the tab base is
#transparent, while with Skulpture and Bespin the
#tab base is opaque, so the numbers get obscured.

So it IS a KDevelop bug after all. Please apply this patch to kdevelop to fix
