Same here. 3.9.97 worked fine but 3.9.98 is exhibiting these issues. Editing a
custom source formatter does not change the RC file. Even more odd is that if i
delete the RC file and start from scratch it will create the section and store
the settings i create in the RC. Selecting reformat source however still makes
use of some default source formatting unrelated to the defined custom
formatter. Opening the configuration box however still shows the correct
settings. On restarting kdevelop though the options in both the RC and the
configuration dialog return to some arbitrary default. Not got around to
checking yet if the RC returns to some other value during shutdown (writing out
the RC file) or loading up (loading the formatting plugin). Hope that helps.
