Summary: Insert blank CD, popup, can't dismiss
Product: kdevelop
Version: unspecified
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: UI: toplevel window
AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
ReportedBy: theosib@gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
If I insert a blank CD or DVD, I get a popup that says "Devices recently
plugged in:" and lists the blank optical disc. There are problems with it:
- There are only two options available, eject, and create K3B project. There
needs to be an "ignore" or "do nothing" option.
- The eject option is clear enough, but it's not at all obvious that clicking
elsewhere on the button associated with the disc will open a project in K3B.
That should be made clearer.
- Really, what I want to do is just dismiss the popup, but there is no obvious
way to do it. Clicking on other windows does nothing. The only way I have
found to dismiss it is to click somewhere in the popup that's not associated
with an action and then click in some other window. There needs to be an
explicit way to immediately dismiss this popup.
