Version:           3.9.95 (using KDevPlatform 0.9.95) (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2),

Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-ARCH

Every time I pick 'Debug Launch' in the run menu, Kdevelop reports the
following:

You need gdb 6.8.50 or higher.
You are using: GNU gdb (GDB) 7.0

I tried recompiling both kdevplatform and kdevelop, but this message still
appears.
