Summary: Environment groups not available/selectable from
launch configurations dialogue
Product: kdevelop
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
ReportedBy: sauldickinson@gmail.com
Version: 4:3.9.95 (using KDE 4.3.2)
Compiler: gcc version 4.4.1 (Ubuntu 4.4.1-4ubuntu8)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
When an environment group has been set up, it is not possible to select/use it
from the Environment drop-down in the Launch Configurations dialogue.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create an "Environment Group" under Settings -> Configure KDevelop... ->
Environment
2. Create a "Launch Configuration" under Run -> Configure Launches...
The "Environment" drop-down is blank and does not allow the selection of the
previously created Environment, making it impossible to launch in a debugger
when env variables are required to run.
Workaround for now is specifying the required env variable (LD_LIBRARY_PATH) on
the command line when running KDevelop.
Or have I completely missed how this global environment configuration business
is supposed to work in KDevelop 4?
