Summary: Restore drag & drop to open files
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
        ReportedBy: jordan.osete@laposte.net

Version: Version 3.9.95 (using KDevPlatform 0.9.95) (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

With KDevelop 3, I could just drag & drop a file from Nautilus (the Gnome file
manager) on KDevelop's UI for quick edit (actually, if no file was opened, you
had to drop it on a specific part of the UI, I think it was the tab-bar, but if
another file was already opened, you could drop the new one in the main text
area).

It seems drag & drop in this way has been completely disabled in KDevelop 4
(3.9.95 actually), however it is incredibly useful, for example if you already
have a file manager window opened in the folder your file is in, you can just
d&d it instead of having to do "file -> open" and browse all over again to the
same folder.

So, please restore drag & drop to open files to KDevelop 4, it would be very
nice ;)
