When loading KDevelop with a dirty/corrupt  ~/.kdevduchain/<instance>/
directory (typically the result of a previous crash), KDev will repeatedly
crash when attempting to start using that <instance>. Problem is corrected by
deleting the directory, but this is ungraceful and frustrating.
