Summary: The areas should all use the same working set
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
        ReportedBy: mcguire@kde.org

Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

KDevelop uses different working sets for the areas/perspectives.
This means that the "Debug" area can have a different working set than the
"Code" area.

I don't like this and would like to have this feature removed or an option to
disable it.

Quite often, without me doing anything intentionally, I end up with the Debug
and Code area having different working sets.
This disrupts my workflow when trying to debug something quite a bit: I use the
Code area to write my new code, then I discover a bug. I set a breakpoint in
the code (I have that file open anyway, because I was working on that), then
run the debugger ... and suddenly all my open files are closed, because the
Debug area uses a different working set. I have to re-open the same files
again.

Also, KDevelop tends to create working sets on its own, it would be better if
it only created working sets on explicit user action.
