Summary: should auto-save files when refactoring them /
executing code-helpers
Product: kdevelop
Version: unspecified
Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Language Support: CPP
AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
ReportedBy: apaku@gmx.de
Currently when applying various code-helpers the files that are being changed
are not saved to disk. At least thats not the case if that file is currently
open in an editor. Especially when using code-helpers from a .cpp that changes
the header this is annoying as there's no information visible (I'm using no
tabs) that the header hasn't been saved. I only realized this once I tried to
build the project.
IMHO the refactorings/code-helpers should always auto-save a file, unless its
already been modified when it does change the file.
