You should try the PHP plugin for KDevelop4 (which will eventually be used by
Quanta4). It is still in development but already supports semantic
highlighting, scoped code completion and more.

Regarding missing highlighting I think this got fixed in the PHP language file
for KWrite, since the keywords you mentioned all get highlighted for me.

I'll close this report as fixed. If you have any specific problems, please
report a new bugreport for each problem.
