This is related to 188729
But I am posting it as a seperate issue... I am running kdevelop from svn and
the improvements to syntax highlighting are excellent. thankyou. 

What is currently broken is the new (office like) assistant interface. It seems
to hard code the background to a light grey which makes light grey text
unreadable. Either it needs to obey theme colours or it needs to hard code the
text colour as well.
