Summary: recursive delete of failed projects can easily cause
                    removal of home directory
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org
        ReportedBy: colin.maclean@comcast.net

Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

I was trying to get subversion working with one of my projects using a recent
svn snapshot and after several tries, I started doing things too fast, and the
project directory was still set to ~. Svn failed to check out from my
repository, and because kdevelop thought ~ was an empty folder, it did a rm -rf
on it and deleted a lot of important files before I could stop it (luckily I
was able to recover most of it with a reiserfsck --rebuild-tree). Next time
I'll be running under a test user. Kdevelop really needs to keep tabs on what
files it created so that it will only remove those it made when project
creation fails.
