I can't reproduce at my home machine at all. I did find another error in the
shortcuts dialog (re-assigning a shortcut actually does nothing) but this
simply works for me. The right xmlgui file is written to
$HOME/.kde4/share/apps/kdevprojectmanagerview and its re-applied when I start
kdevelop. No matter wether I have the project loaded during startup or manually
load it later on.

I'll try to find some time tomorrow for some testing on my workmachine, but
this smells fishy.
