           Summary: provide selection information
           Product: kdevplatform
           Version: SVN
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: ASSIGNED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: shell
        AssignedTo: apaku@gmx.de
        ReportedBy: apaku@gmx.de
                CC: kdevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org

Using the KDevelop::Context class it would be cool to supply a
selectionChanged() virtual method for plugins and a changeSelection() method on
PluginController similar to the context menu stuff.

This would allow a plugin to notify all other interested plugins of changes to
the selections. Currently only the project treeview supports this and needs a
few ugly hacks to do that.
