It just occurred to me that the fix for this is to just use a VCS-specific identifier \
for addAction(). So one can add to the "Extension" point or one can add its own \
identifier into the contextmenuextension. If one wants to provide access to other \
plugins to this identifier one needs to provide a public API or some such for it to \
be retrieved (a plain header containing a static string should suffice)
