If the program you are debugging outputs text that is not EOL-terminated, the text is not displayed -- this is acceptable behavior.  However, when the program terminates, any text that was output and not followed by an EOL terminator should be output to the "Application" tab and this is not currently happening.  As a result, I spent a little time trying to figure out why the last part of my error message was missing, only to figure out later that it was, I just forgot to add a \n to the printf where I spit it out.

An even more desirable mechanism would be to flush the application output every x-seconds/milliseconds so that non-EOL-terminated output can be seen while the application is running, but still avoiding some of the problems that can be associated with trying to update the tab on every putc() call.
