Summary: QtRuby Application Template Packages broken
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.5.0
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: eyecreate gmail com

Version: 3.5.0 (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I have KDE installed inside my main Ubuntu distro. I tried to use Kdevelop version \
stated in bug report and use it like the Ruby RAD page says \
here:http://www.kdevelop.org/doc/technotes/rubyrad.html This did not work for a few \
reasons. 1.)The Makefile in the project template sports the error :

/bin/sh: Syntax error: Unterminated quoted string
make: *** [all] Error 2

I am not one to know much about Makefiles, so I don't know where the string problem \
is, but it should be fixed so you don't have to hand edit the Makefile for every \
project.

2.)When trying to use the Qt designer, I get mixed results when trying to add a \
Signal Handler. Sometimes it works like in the picture displaying the "Create or \
Select Implementation Class" dialog, but sometimes does not. Either way, it always \
spits out the message

Cannot find implementation class for form: /home/nixbox/qtrubytest/mainwind.ui

If the dialog came up, then the implementation class is created even with the error, \
but without the Signal Handler and just the main form code. It also through the extra \
error of "Class was created but not found in class store.". If no dialog, then no \
file is created.

3.)At random times, but especially when closing the program, it just displays the \
crash dialog for KDE. The seems to be no difference than normal exiting on the \
command line output then the message :

KCrash: Application 'kdevelop' crashing...
ICE default IO error handler doing an exit(), pid = 32592, errno = 0

The numbered points are in my personal order of importance to be fixed.
