Summary: need option to use vim and emacs as editor
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: why2jjj lycos com

Version: 3.5 (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.1.3
OS: Linux

Majority of the Linux/UNIX world grew up with vim or emacs. I personally find \
kdevelop semi-useless because it does not allow you to use either vim or emacs \
shortcuts and I don't want to learn yet another editor with it's own set of \
shortcuts.

It would be really great to have an option to use the vim and/or emacs editor (even \
Microsoft's Visual Studio can use Vim's Window's plugin). Currently kdevelop 3.5 \
gives you no option other than the editor that comes with the build.
