Summary: Buggy Subversion integration. Wrong reported SVN status
and revisions.
Product: kdevelop
Version: 3.5.0
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: VCS: SVN
AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
ReportedBy: j_blasi wanadoo es
Version: 3.5.0 (using 3.5.4, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20.1
I have configured kdevelop 3.5.0 in order to use Subversion CVS integration (custom \
makefiles C++). At first it seems that all basic SVN functionality works.
However I have realized that files and directory status (and revisions) reported on \
filetree are wrong. Also colors used for control version feedback go away on filetree \
when folding/unfolding directory entries (for instance for remote changed items). \
"Sync with repository" at project root level does not sync all project files. You \
have to navigate trough directoy entries and keep repeating "Sync with repolsitory" \
there, ...
For example:
1.- Unfold on filetree a SVN directory that contains files modified in repository \
that needs local update (needs patch). Bug: kdevelop filetree shows these files as \
"up-to-date" (at least should show "unknown").
2.- Ok, right click on directory entry an "Sync With Repository". Right status is \
showed now ("needs_patch") but file SVN revisions are wrong.
3.- Fold and unfold again same directory entry on filetree. Previous "needs_patch" \
right status disappear showing now the "up-to-date" wrong status again.
