SVN commit 738012 by apaku:

Change the way subscopes are walked for fetching variable values. This is only \
needed/wanted when reading variables whose output is used for running the app or \
make.

I don't think anything breaks with this (except seeing the values of include()'ed \
files when checking the project options of a subdir, which is a feature, not a bug)
