I've had a few instances since my last report where kdevelop memory usage ballooned \
to ~1.2GB. After blacklisting almost every directory in the kernel the memory usage \
is down to ~550MB although the annoying pause when saving files or switching windows \
still remains.

I just installed kscope. It had no problem importing the kernel project code, is \
quick to find the location of the definition of a variable etc and only uses around \
64MB of ram. It would be great if something like that could be integrated in \
kdevelop4 as kdevelop3.x doesn't appear to scale very well.
