KDevelop uses the standard KDE colors, wether you run it inside KDE or Gnome, or plain X11. The integrated editor called Kate has a few color settings of its own, especially for highlighting. This is changed in the next major KDE version where its using mostly the system colors as well. So if you want to change your colors in KDevelop, fire up kcontrol and go to Appearance->Colors and change the theme there.
