the kdevelop debugger do not make a difference between local and remote \
debugging: e.g. send always "run"-command to gdb. but "Logic might tell you \
to type 'run' in order to run the program. Don't. msp430-gdb is built upon \
the standard GNU GDB, and inherits all its behaviour. The 'run' command is \
appropriate for starting a program being debugged on the host. For an \
embedded target processor the correct command is 'continue', or just 'c'." \

to debug my msp430 controller.

as workaround i use at this moment ddd to debug my targets. it works well.
