------- The file in question hadn't been modified externally since opening the \
project.  I have noticed that on opening a project, kdevelop sometimes 'gives up' \
part way through whatever it is doing (ie. the progress bar at the bottom stops at \
~60% and never finishes).  On other occasions there are no classes at all in the \
class browser and I have to close and reopen the project to get them back.  Perhaps \
this is related?
