Proposed Fix 2

This patch appears to fix all bugs in the modified project. The fix is a bit
of a hack, in that an EnteringDirectoryItem (subclass of MakeItem) object
should only be created if the makefile explicitly prints an "Entering
directory" statement, but it shows that some additional trail of breadcrumbs is
needed in order to properly identify the directory in which the source file
containing the error occurs.
