This is being called on the link line 'g++ -m32 -Wl,-rpath ... -shared -o ...' which \
is pretty long in my project.

printqstring regExp.pattern():
([^:    ]+):([0-9]+):([^0-9]+)

Can this regex be made more efficient? Maybe you could ignore any line beginning \
'g++', 'gcc', 'ld', 'ifort', 'cc', 'aCC' etc. as these won't contain the error \
messages.
