I considered this a bug, because it can drastically hamper developer's work. It is not an algorithmic, but interface design bug. 'Debugger error' 'Variable object not found' This message can popup dozens of times on a row, after I step out of variable sight (when Variables window is open). When I work in GDB window and type commands on cmd prompt, any of non-succesful messages which are anyway displayed in GDB window are duplicated by a silly popped messagebox. Like: 'Attempt to dereference a generic pointer'. I agree with Bug #94034 that all these popping messageboxes are stupid because they don't provide any help but make an obstacle. I suggest to make something quiet like a log window, or just a log file, or even not notify these situations completely. I want to attract your attention Bug #141320 that GDB cmd prompt losing its focus after each typed command is very annoyng. I can not work without this patch. But it is not applied since february! On the following issues I am not filing bugs and not have verified their presence in bugsystem, because I don't have time, sorry. But I ask you to pay them attention. Right mouse button popup on selected text in gdb window contains only "Copy All" and "Show internal commands", but no "Copy". Edit menu does not permit to copy too. This is design flaw. By the way, thread list is very buggy! In brief, just now it has repeated all my threads ten times in a row! 52 threads x 10 times = 520, not a candy for an eye. It has problems with stack frame display too. In particular, ellipsis expansion can go beyond a boundary and list framestack second, third time, in circles. Not configurable ellipsis displayng only 5 levels of stack frame force me to click on it when I have enough display area. Thank you for your work! _______________________________________________ KDevelop-bugs mailing list KDevelop-bugs@kdevelop.org https://barney.cs.uni-potsdam.de/mailman/listinfo/kdevelop-bugs
