Summary: gdb warning prevents variable display
Product: kdevelop
Version: 3.4.1
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
ReportedBy: robert.leathley ricardo com
Version: 3.4.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux
querying certain variables in gdb produces a warning (not sure why):
warning: RTTI symbol not found for class 'MyClass'
KDevelop shows this in a popup dialog if you try and display the value, then shows no \
values next to the variable name. If I type 'p variableName' in the gdb command \
widget, I get the above warning but also the values.
This is related to Bug 144299: I get many warnings and errors from gdb that I'd like \
to ignore.
