So you can't add that file (added files are bold in the file tree)? If so what is the \
list of filetypes under Project Options->Custom Manager? And whats the filename of \
the file you want to add? 

The backtrace is pretty useless here. Do you get output on the console when you start \
KDevelop from a shell? If so please activate 9025 kdevelop (custommake) in \
kdebugdialog (thats a program) and deactivate all other areas and then run kdevelop \
in a shell. Try to add the file and paste the output from the shell that you get.

Last but not least: The backtrace would be more useful if you'd had a -dbg package \
for KDevelop installed so you'd get linenumbers. I can't see any point in the \
mentioned function where it could crash, especially I don't see any reason why it \
would crash inside Qt, except if your system is broken somewhere...
