This is not a bug in KDevelop but in Kate, the reason it occurs is a patch that is \
used in most Qt packages from distributions. I think you can find more information \
when googling for XIM crash. Also this crash has been fixed in KDE 3.5.6 (maybe even \
3.5.5) and a workaround exists in KDevelop3.4. Last but not least: We don't accept \
Bugreports against KDevelop3.3 anymore, that version is unsupported since the release \
of KDevelop3.4.0
