I can't reproduce this here. I opened kdev3 sources, edited a file outside kdevelop \
hit reload to load the changes and built it - all fine.

Can you please run kdevelop in gdb and when it starts eating memory kill it and print \
a bt from gdb. Without some more data or somebody who can reproduce this its hard to \
debug.
