For some reason the old panes functionality is no longer available. Namely, it's no longer possible to make panes not resize the text widget.
1) it's just ugly - you click file selector button, and your text moves to the right;
2) it's even more ugly when you run debugger - text widget size becomes like 1/2 x 1/2 of the window size;
3) it's no longer possible to do for example this: click file selector button, double-click a file and have the file selector automatically close.
All in all, on 1024x768 resolution, this looks like braindead libgdl. Kdevelop was always different (and great) because of its lovely floating panes, and now this nonsense.
