Summary: Trying to create a new project in a not writable
directory, leads the wizard to an inconsistent state
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.4.0
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: appwizard
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: agarberisoft netscape net

Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-8 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-4-k7

Creating a new project, if you select a not writable directory (I did this by \
mistake), leads the wizard to a state that makes it no more usable. You have to close \
and reopen it to create the project in the right directory.

- open "Create New Project" dialog
- select "Application name" and "Location" using a not writable location (I'll call \
                it "DIR0")
- select the project template
- click "Next" several times until the buttons becomes "Finish"
- click "Finish" and you get an error dialog about "DIR0" not being writable (and \
                this is right)
- now click "Back" until the first page is shown
- change the directory to a writable one (I'll call it "DIR1")
- click "Next", ..., "Finish" and you get the same error as before
--> the wizard has ignored the new directory chosen
- try to change it another time: "Back", ..., change ("DIR2"), ..., "Next", ..., \
                "Finish"
- you get a new error: the directory "DIR1" already exists
--> the wizard is trying to use the previous directory ("DIR1") instead of the new \
one ("DIR2"), but it has already been created by the wizard itself in the previous \
steps!

You cannot select a new directory because this error is recursive.
You have to close the dialog (possibly remove the empty directories created) and \
restart the dialog.
