Summary: Custom Project: Do NOT overwrite relative path to
                    executable in "Runtime Options"
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: Achim.Spangler mnet-online de

Version: 3.4-SVN tree (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.1.2
OS: Linux

I want to specify the executable in "Project Options" -> "Runtime Options" -> "Main \
Program" -> "Executable" by RELATIVE path. If I specify "./foo" , the debugger is \
started correctly. But later KDevelop replace this field by absolute path or empty \
field.

So I ask simply that the path resolving - which is used for starting the project in \
debugger - should NOT change the setting in the mentioned project option field.

So the engine is able to resolve the relative path correctly. But some algorithm \
replaces my specified relative path to executable with something I really do NOT \
want.

Reasoning:
I want to have all paths RELATIVE, so that I can move the whole project tree around \
without any problems. I want to be able to share a project file with other users who \
have different $HOME diretories, so that no absolute paths can be used.

Thanks,
Achim
