Summary: keep find and replace dialogs open after item has been
                    found/replaced
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 3.4.0
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org
        ReportedBy: a.l.w.kuijper rug nl

Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

After a certain item has been found in the find or replace dialog, the dialog closes \
automatically. This is unexpected behaviour when a user wants to find multiple \
instances of the same item: in that case, he or she has to fire up the find/replace \
dialog again and again, which drastically slows down searches (e.g. CTRL+F'ing all \
the time).

In other GUI IDEs, this was solved by having a "Keep Dialog" checkbox in the \
find/replace dialog, so that the user has control over the behavior of the find / \
replace dialog (either it disappears after the first item has been found or replaced, \
or it stays open until the user explicitly close it).
