This is not a kdevelop problem. KDevelop doesn't create the Makefile, thats done by \
autotools. KDevelop only runs make on your build directory. So please take this \
problem to an autotool bug database.

Also I can't reproduce this here, so I guess your autotools (autoconf most probably \
as libtool is created via configure which is created by autoconf) are somewhat \
broken.
