------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142129 Summary: Renaming project's directory unleashes hell on KDevelop Product: kdevelop Version: 3.4.0 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdevelop-bugs kdevelop org ReportedBy: greatbunzinni gmail com Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: Ubuntu RPMs If a KDevelop project is saved, renamed and then reopened, all kinds of SNAFUs start to happen. I've commited some changes on a project I'm working on and then checked it out but this time on a different named directory. When I tried to open the project, KDevelop hanged. After renaming the project's directory back to the former name the project opened as usual. I've noticed that there were some source files that were automatically opened which could be the cause of the problem. I closed them, renamed the project's directory and reopened the project and this time KDevelop didn't hanged. Nonetheless there were some SNAFUs like a long list of bookmarks which didn't belonged to any file in the project. After a bit of digging I've noticed that KDevelop stores some project settings in absolute paths instead of relative paths, even though that KDevelop's "Project"->"Project Options"->"General" specifies the project's directories in terms or a relative path. Could this (the storing of some options on absolute paths) be the cause of all the SNAFUs?
