The functionality "Debug/attach to process" no longer works with 3.4, 
Here is the output of the gdb console:  
gdb /home/heefre/svn/trunk/voxgratia/OpalTester/$APPNAMELC$ --interpreter=mi2 -quiet
/home/heefre/svn/trunk/voxgratia/OpalTester/$APPNAMELC$ is not the application hat \
was selected, and $APPNAMELC$ is not substituted.
